Jackie's Deliverance

After I lost Alex I eventually gave his clothing and shoes away. I hated to have to do that, but what is the use of holding on to things he's never going to wear again when someone else could use them? I took some of his favorite items and had memory bears made with his favorite shirt, pants, and baseball hat. I then sent these bears to his mother and sister. I put a picture of them below:

I put a container of anointing oil that Alex used to own in the front pocket of the bear I had made for Jackie. At that time she still hadn't come to Jesus. I guess I gave it to her in hopes that some day she would come to the Lord.  I remember Jackie calling me to let me know that her mother really loved the bear so much. She put it right up by her head as she slept. I was glad I could comfort her in some small way. I couldn't imagine the heartbreak of a mother losing her only son after she lost her husband and mother all within the span of three or so years.

I had quite a library of deliverance books, tracts and CD's due to all the years of seeking deliverance for Alex. I didn't want to have anything to do with deliverance after that. I would still recommend it and did believe in it, but I was never going to deal with anyone who had demonic issues ever again. I promised myself that I would never get involved with anyone who had severe emotional wounds and/or was suicidal ever again in my life.

Jackie and I spoke to each other often. For me it was like having a little piece of Alex just to have her as my friend. After she finally came to Jesus and got baptized I thought it would just be smooth sailing for her after that. I knew she was going to be a good Christian because she was always a person who prayed a lot. She was a servant at heart. She would visit her elderly Uncle Roger often and helped him out with doctor's appointments and such. We were in the midst of the Covid pandemic at the time and Uncle Roger boasted about getting the Covid vaccine and said he was going to get any booster shot they had. Well, it didn't take but a year for him to come down with cancer. Jackie was with him to the very end. She was with him in the hospital room as he was passing away and she asked him to give his life to Jesus. He was Catholic, but she wanted to make sure that he trusted Jesus himself. So, in his last moments he agreed and she prayed with him. After his death she was grieving a lot. There were just so many losses she had to deal with already and now her uncle.

About a month later she was having heart issues. She had pain in her chest every day, and also in her arm. She had lost all her energy and could barely do the minimum of housework. She went to see the doctor and the doctor set her up to see a Cardiologist which there was a waiting list for. All she could do is wait for her appointment. She was told to go to the Emergency Room if she needed to. As this progressively got worse each week I had a feeling that a spirit of death was trying to kill her. She had just recently been baptized months before. I guess the devils just are sore losers. They wanted to create complete havoc in Alex's family and ruin his testimony and legacy. Well, I guess they didn't count on Jackie coming to Jesus.

Finally I decided that her life was on the line and no matter what she thought I was going to tell her that a spirit of death was trying to kill her and that she needs to get deliverance. She didn't show obvious signs of having a demon like Alex did. But, I had known enough after witnessing countless deliverances at Conferences that a lot of seemingly normal people have demons. I also knew that she dealt with a lifelong struggle of Anxiety Disorder.  I told her that I would contact Pastor Ron and ask him to talk to her and pray for her. Much to my surprise she was willing to meet with Ron over the internet. Ron lived on the opposite side of Canada so he could not be there in person. Ron arranged a three way connection so I could be there with them while he prayed for Jackie. Jackie actually didn't think she had demons at all, but, she wanted to cover all the bases, just incase. She figured it wouldn't hurt to find out if whether what I was saying could be true. I am listing a thumbnail of Ron below. He serves Jay Bartlett Ministries which is listed in the Deliverance Directory.

Ron prayed for her for hours deep into the night. Much to Jackie's surprise she did have demons. Ron cast out that spirit of death and it even spoke saying it didn't mean her any harm.  I wondered if she had received it because she was holding a dying man's hand as he passed. She was doing a good deed even! But, demons seek another place to go after a person dies and usually a person that is touching them is very much in danger of getting the demon, especially if related. She had more demons than that however. There was a generational demon that came out of her next. She actually spit up some blood when she coughed that one out. Then the last demon to be cast out was a spirit of anxiety which she said came out from under her fingernails. We must have stayed up until three in the morning on the computer.

The next day, although Jackie hadn't had much sleep the night before, had a lot of energy. She had been so lethargic and barely functioning the months before that. Jackie's mother was quite astonished. She had seen a complete healing before in times past when her son got deliverance. She said she'd heard her daughter from the other room the night before and figured that she was participating in some kind of deliverance session but didn't want to disturb her. After that all the chest pain went away and her energy returned. What amazed her more than that was that she felt an enormous amount of peace. She was not used to that because of the anxiety she had felt most of her life.

She said at the funeral Ron had given her a tiny little wooden cross to keep. Then he told her she was going to become a Christian and come to Jesus some day. She laughed and said in her mind, "That's never going to happen." Now she was laughing that it actually happened and was grateful to be wrong. She said that she knew she was a tough one to win to the Lord but that God did a miracle. I realized that not only had Alex prayed for his sister's salvation, he had also always prayed for her deliverance. God was so faithful to Alex and answered both of those prayers. I didn't even expect this to happen, but it did!

Below is a prophetic dream that she later had. She sent it to me in a verbal Facebook message. I decided to turn that message of hers into a video for the public. You can hear the affect of the Holy Spirit in her voice when she speaks of the peace he gave her.
