Double Rainbow
I wanted to move close to the border to be nearer to Alex. Finally I was able to move into a house which was six miles from the border of Canada in July. At the same time there was an opening for my disabled son Teddy in an adult group home so he was then placed there. He had been the last of the disabled children that had been living with me. He was difficult to care for since he was all grown up. I was happy for him. He would now have a place of his own and get the services and attention he needed. After I was all moved in I went back to get Alex once again.
This time as we drove to the states we saw a double rainbow just before we were to cross the border. It was as if there was hope coming our way. Alex was still suffering from severe and unusual fears. He also had mysterious aches and pains of all kinds. He barely ate and felt cold all the time. He was constantly sick. His thoughts were confused and foggy. His functioning was not good at all. One day he told me, "A lady on the computer told me to go get deliverance at Hegewisch Baptist church and I want to go." I found out where it was, it was in Indiana. It was a fourteen hour drive from my house.
We left my house and drove past where a tornado touched down that just missed us having gone through the area only fifteen minutes before we drove through. We saw whole roofs blown off some houses and whole trees pulled up by the roots. It was as if we were protected from this.
As sorry for Alex as I felt, it took all my patience to drive him fourteen hours and not drop him off at the curb that day! He was being really mean to me with his words and remarks such as, "You know, we aren't complatible, we don't have much in common. You don't even like to eat things like Lobster Bisque." He was also being annoying and singing songs he shouldn't. On the radio was a rebellious song called, "Smokin' in the Boys Room." He turned it up. I turned it off. He turned it back on. I turned it back off and on and on.
I thought to myself, "This is not a joke! Why is he acting so belligerent?" Well, of course those were unhappy demons manifesting on the whole ride there.

Once we got to the church things became worse as Alex was getting in theological debates with all the men there! He was debating with them about the accepting Jesus in your heart formula and that you also must be baptized. So he went round and round with the men who didn't understand him and then the men assumed he wasn't even a Christian because he said he hadn't accepted Jesus in his heart. Alex had however accepted Jesus but he never mentioned that to the men!
That church had a policy that they do not pray deliverance for anyone who isn't a Christian. Then they decided that they were not going to pray for him! Here I had driven fourteen excruciating hours with Alex and he acts all religious getting in arguments when he so desperately needed help. I felt like screaming at him but kept my composure knowing it was yet another demonic trick to keep him bound and he just didn't realize what he was doing. I told the pastor that I needed to talk with him privately. I explained the whole misunderstanding to the pastor then he had a conference with his men and they decided it was okay to pray for Alex, whew!
That ended up not even mattering because no one needed to really pray personally for him because the Holy Spirit did all the work. The pastor had everyone do renunciations of personal and ancestral sins. Then he started calling out different demon names and classes. That's when Alex violently manifested. He was sitting in the pew next to me and the next thing you know he's picking up the pew in front of us even though people were sitting in it! It was as if he had supernatural strength. He had manifested when the preacher shouted, "Fear of Satan and Antichrist Satanic Rock Music, come out in Jesus name!" When the men there saw how Alex was manifesting immediately they came over to him and held him down so he would not hurt himself or anyone else. At one point I counted six men having to hold him down. It was a long struggle but after a lot of screaming something finally came out of him.
I remember that afterwards Alex even looked different to me. His face looked all relaxed and he looked peaceful. He said that even his back pain just went away suddenly. Beforehand he had always had a tense look on his face and a wrinkle between his eyebrows. It was gone, and so was the argumentative nature.
I had secretly prayed for one of the men there at the church who had been very mean to Alex due to the doctrinal arguments prior to the deliverance. This particular man should have known better to allow himself to be engaged in silly arguments and realize that Alex needed serious help. The next day this man whom I had prayed for stood up and gave a testimony before the whole congregation saying, "God showed me last night that I needed to have love for the brethren." And he was all in tears saying God softened his heart and changed his heart. Before we left he went over to Alex and hugged him and apologized.
We went home that day and Alex went home a different person! Then we spent the most glorious summer together. The children and I were so happy. Alex was so happy. We were like a little family.
I realized many things, that -

* The Medical world was unable to help him.
* Psychiatry was unable to help him.
* An Environmental Illness specialist was unable to help him.
* Psychiatric drugs didn't help him.

Deliverance was what helped him; through the acting power of the anointing of the Holy Spirit and with the authority of the Name of Jesus Christ.
Zachariah 4:6 Not by Might, nor by Power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord.
Before we had the major breakthrough at Hegewisch church I would grasp for any straw that would help. Alex grasped at any straw too. I found that the Portuguese pastor who wanted to help did have a loving heart but lacked because he didn't believe in miracles. Although contentions occurred at the Hegewisch Baptist church, God prevailed and Alex did receive his deliverance.
Alex was a destitute person needing help and the churches he went to were ill equipped to help. Hosea 4:6 " My People Perish for Lack of Knowledge."
He encountered so much unbelief and people were wanting to send him to psychiatry at every turn. Only when we met people brave enough to pray against the demons to be cast out, did he really make any true progress. Even the secular world admitted that they couldn't help and a world famous doctor said, "Turn to your faith."
I knew that although Alex had a few very powerful demons cast out that he needed more cast out. Alex himself was ignorant about this fact. He wanted to believe that the struggle was over and that he was all healed and delivered due to just one very powerful deliverance session.
I persuaded Alex to go visit a sister church to Hegewisch that had the same beliefs and anointing. That church is called Agape Bible Church and is located in New York State near the Niagara Falls area. It was much closer. At this Church there was another strong demon of Alex's manifested and was cast out.
I later called the pastor of that church and told him of my concerns. Although Alex seemed dramatically better there was still something there. I just knew it. Alex would work frantically at my house all day long from 5 am till 11 pm. He did repair work on my roof, painted the whole interior of my house, put some new siding on my house and poured cement to repair my whole back porch floor. He kept so busy working that I came up with a list of at least sixty repairs that he'd done on my house and car. He would work very hard at cooking and cleaning as well. I suppose this would be anyone's dream guest, but there was one problem. He would never slow down to just sit there and have a relaxing conversation. I found it rather annoying but at least he wasn't in torment. I felt like he was trying to escape something. I wanted Alex to be fully delivered.
I called the Pastor of the Agape Church to ask for counsel. He told me on the phone that he thought Alex probably only got ten percent of his deliverance and he had at least another ninety percent to go. I told Alex this but he was in denial about it. He also refused to talk to the pastor on the phone. The pastor also told me that Alex should not be staying at our house because we are supposed to avoid the appearance of evil and it looks like we are living together. I didn't worry about that because Alex would have to go back to Canada soon anyway because he was only allowed to stay six months out of a full year. Alex had to go back home. He didn't have any choice, those are the rules of both of our countries.
